Beam uses limited location, route, and app usage information to provide the navigation experience. Location data is processed for route calculation, speed alerts, and nearby radar notifications. Your personal data is not sold or shared with third parties. Apple Music, microphone, and speech recognition permissions are used only when you use the related feature.
Beam is a navigation and radar alert application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, why we process it, and how you can control your data. By using Beam, you agree that your information may be handled as described in this policy.
Depending on the features you use, Beam may process location data, route details, speed and road information, search queries, saved route history, app settings, purchase status, device and app diagnostics, and permission status. We aim to collect only the information required to provide navigation, safety alerts, subscriptions, and support.
Beam uses your location while the app is in use to show your position on the map, calculate routes, estimate travel time, detect road and speed-limit information, and display nearby radar or warning points. Location data is used to power the driving experience and is not sold to third parties.
When you create or start a route, Beam may save route coordinates, route distance, estimated duration, and creation date on your device so you can view recent routes. Route history is stored locally in app storage unless a feature explicitly requires an online service for route calculation.
Beam may request access to Location, Apple Music, Microphone, Speech Recognition, Notifications, and App Tracking Transparency depending on the features you choose. You can change these permissions at any time from iOS Settings. If a permission is disabled, the related feature may not work correctly.
Apple Music access is used only to search and play music when you open the music feature. Microphone and Speech Recognition are used only when you choose voice input features, such as speaking a destination or command. Beam does not use these permissions to listen in the background.
Beam may use anonymous diagnostics, subscription status, purchase events, and app performance information to improve reliability, understand crashes, manage premium access, and support the user experience. Tracking permission, when requested, is used only in accordance with your iOS choice.
Beam may rely on trusted services such as Mapbox for maps, navigation, route calculation, and road data; Google Places for place search; RevenueCat and Apple StoreKit for subscription and purchase management; Apple Music and MusicKit for music features; and Apple system services for speech, notifications, review prompts, and mail. These providers process information according to their own privacy policies.
Beam keeps local route history, app settings, onboarding status, appearance preferences, and similar app data for as long as needed to provide the feature or until you remove the app or clear the related data. Some purchase and subscription records may be retained by Apple, RevenueCat, or other providers according to their policies.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by Beam. No app or online service can guarantee absolute security, but we design Beam to limit unnecessary data collection and reduce exposure of sensitive information.
Beam is intended for general navigation use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Beam, contact us so we can review and respond appropriately.
You can manage app permissions from iOS Settings, delete local app data by removing the app, contact us about privacy questions, and manage subscriptions through your Apple ID. Depending on your region, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or limitation of certain personal information.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Beam changes, when we add features, or when legal or operational requirements change. The latest version will be available inside the app, and the update date will be revised when meaningful changes are made.

Beam provides navigation, route planning, speed information, radar and warning alerts, route history, HUD mode, Apple Music integration, and related driving tools. Features may vary by country, device, permissions, subscription status, network availability, and third-party service availability.
Beam is designed to assist driving, not replace your judgment. Road conditions, signs, speed limits, laws, police controls, construction, and hazards may change at any time. Always obey traffic laws, road signs, and official instructions. Do not interact with the app in a way that distracts you while driving.
Some Beam features may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. Purchases are processed through Apple and may be managed from your Apple ID. Prices, trial periods, renewals, cancellation rules, and refunds are subject to Apple App Store terms and the purchase screen shown before payment.
Apple Music features require Apple Music availability, user permission, and an eligible Apple account or subscription where applicable. Playback may depend on your device, vehicle connection, region, network, and Apple service availability.
You are responsible for using Beam lawfully and safely, keeping your device secure, maintaining any required connectivity, and ensuring you have the right permissions for features you enable. You must not misuse the app, attempt to disrupt the service, reverse engineer protected components, or use Beam for unlawful purposes.
Radar, speed, route, traffic, and warning information may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. Beam does not guarantee that every radar, hazard, limit, or road condition will be shown. You remain responsible for your driving decisions.
Beam may rely on third-party services including map, routing, place search, subscription, music, and Apple system services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Beam is not responsible for third-party outages, data, content, or decisions.
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or modify Beam features at any time. We may also perform maintenance or make changes needed for security, legal compliance, performance, or product improvement.
Beam is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, Beam and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or driving-related damages resulting from use of the app.
We may update these Terms of Use when Beam changes or when legal, technical, or business requirements change. Continued use of Beam after an update means you accept the updated terms.
